Merson-ASG is a multi-sector genuine full-service sign business. If you need scale and geographic coverage we have the best in the UK. When it comes to your design needs, we have every aspect catered for: CAD, photorealistic 3D renderings, montage scheme drawings and full construction and technical design.
Taking the time to gain an in-depth understanding of our clients’ needs lies at the heart of every successful project. The first and most important thing we do is talk to you; we find out exactly what you want your signs to deliver for your business and its customers.
Through this dialogue we find the core purpose and intent behind your brief and then design and implement around these core objectives and deliverables. This focus on defining and delivering precisely what is required is woven through every stage of our process.
We bring to projects our extensive design skills and in-depth understanding of our medium, enabling us to deliver a significantly better end product than manufacturers whose abilities begin and end with the ability to manufacture signage.
We care about all aspects of design and understand what intelligent design, whether our own or another designer's, can contribute to a successful project. Using conceptual design, sketches, 3-dimensional computer renderings, mock-ups and prototyping we value-engineer and optimise all aspects of your signage. This gives you the opportunity to consider cost saving proposals, commercial viability and whole-life practicalities without losing the creative vision that made the proposal so exciting in the first place.
The breadth of experience within our in-house design team allows us to consider a range of alternative design solutions and production methods, enabling your project to be completed on programme and on budget while staying true to the brief.
With over 70 years experience in signmaking, a dedicated and highly skilled workforce and excellent coverage across the UK, Merson Signs has the ability to deliver signage projects on any scale and in any location. Keeping up-to-date with the latest materials, manufacturing processes and technologies has cemented our position as one of the leading sign companies in the UK.
We employ our own specialist fitters and our policy is to maintain full in-house control over all site work. We subcontract only when absolutely necessary and only with our clients prior agreement. Our fleet of liveried vehicles operates nationally with fifteen crews based at strategic locations throughout the UK. This resource is managed from both our Glasgow and London offices.
Similarly, our project management teams are based at both ends of the country giving us hands-on management at all times and close control of all on-site works.
Our client relationship does not end with installation of the final sign - for us that is just the beginning. We recognise the importance of whole-life service; having made a significant investment in signage you want to safeguard that investment and maximise the return from it by ensuring that your signs remain effective throughout their life.
To deliver effective and responsive sign-care services we operate a separate, dedicated service, Merson Sign Management, with its own crews, management and resources. We provide this service because we want to help you keep your signage assets in tip-top condition and because we want to become a valued long-term partner.
This whole-life approach has given us many valued, long-term key accounts most of them being Merson clients for 10 years or more. We want every new client to enjoy and value the benefits of working with Merson and, ultimately, become our next long-term partner.
Our plant list across 3 facilities is extensive and reflects our continuous investment in the best signmaking equipment, with only a few highly specialised items such as neon being outsourced. This gives us excellent control over product quality and delivery times.
We have the largest in-house installation resource in the UK, controlled and monitored with sophisticated bespoke software and an extensive management and supervision staff, all with the necessary training and accreditations.
