Merson were contracted by Halifax to provide upgraded signage packages at over 350 branches over an 18-month period. Some received a light upgrade consisting of a brand refresh, while others were given a full upgrade with their signage replaced and refurbished on both the exterior and interior of the branch.

External signage included:

  • Illuminated concave fascia
  • Acrylic logos
  • Illuminated ATM surrounds
  • Illuminated projecting signs

Merson were also instrumental in a new concept being introduced in a small batch of branches. iPads were installed in the selected few to provide customers with direct access to internet banking and call centre staff.

All jobs were completed with a very quick turnaround and to a flawless standard, with all crews checking their own work. Many of the installations took place during night shifts as safe access to signage was often difficult during daytime, especially peak times. To date we have had no snags with any of our Halifax works.

This project is due to be completed at the end of November 2013. In 2014 the second phase of our ongoing works with Halifax will commence.
